John Anderson is the third generation in his family’s business. He was the CEO of a large manufacturing business, started a successful pharmaceutical packaging company, and was an early start-up investor, in the late 60s, in the high-tech industry. In 1978, he began the development of a Japanese garden, eventually opened to the public, which is now considered one of the top gardens of this type in the world. He has had a life long passion for supporting education initiatives. He is a member of the Young President’s Organization and Chief Executives organization, two international organizations.
